Welcome to Laveau Studio Works. By using our website at www.janaewritesbooks.com or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

Laveau Studio Works offers creative services, including character illustrations, story outlines, story development support, and creative consultations.

The description of each service explains what is included. Any additional work must be agreed upon separately.

2. Orders and Payments

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed through the payment methods available at checkout.

Orders are subject to acceptance. If we cannot fulfill an order, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate resolution, including a refund where applicable.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate project information, descriptions, reference images, and other materials needed to complete their purchases.

Customers confirm that they have the necessary rights to share submitted materials for use in their projects.

4. Project Scope and Revisions

Each purchase covers the services and deliverables described in the applicable listing.

Additional characters, complex backgrounds, major changes in direction, or other work outside the agreed scope may require an additional fee. Customers will be informed of any additional charges before the work begins.

Revision allowances will be stated in the applicable service description or written project agreement.

5. Delivery

Delivery timelines will be communicated after the project requirements have been reviewed and accepted.

Completed digital products and commissioned work will be delivered through the agreed electronic method.

6. Intellectual Property

Customers retain ownership of the original characters, manuscripts, stories, and reference materials they provide.

Laveau Studio Works retains ownership of its preexisting artwork, templates, methods, and original creative materials.

Usage rights for newly commissioned artwork are determined separately for each project through a written agreement. Payment alone does not automatically transfer copyright or grant exclusive or commercial rights.

7. Confidentiality

We will treat unpublished manuscripts, private story concepts, and other confidential project materials with reasonable care.

We will not knowingly publish or display a customer's private materials without appropriate permission, except where necessary to fulfill the service or comply with law.

8. Consultations

Creative consultations are collaborative services intended to help customers explore ideas and develop their projects.

Consultations do not guarantee publication, representation, commercial success, or any specific creative outcome.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Promotions

Discounts, including grand opening promotions, are subject to their advertised eligibility requirements, dates, and conditions.

Unless otherwise stated, discounts cannot be combined. Promotional refunds are calculated using the amount actually paid.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Laveau Studio Works is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from its services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer protections or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Changes will not retroactively alter accepted orders without appropriate agreement or legal basis.
